3 Days Gorilla Flying Tour from Entebbe to Kisoro

Full Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Kisoro Airstrip
You will be picked up from you hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala. Transfer to the airport to take up a scheduled flight to Kisoro town where you will land at the airstrip. On arrival, you will be picked up and transfer to a nearby lodge in Kisoro town or in southern Bwindi. From Kisoro town, it is easier to connect to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park or to the south of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. From the town, you are able to trek mountain gorillas of Nkuringo and Rushaga sectors in the south of Bwindi or Ruhija sector to the east. Arrival at your lodge early in the day and check in. Overnight stay at Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge or Gorilla Safari Lodge on Full Board.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This is the long-awaited day for the gorilla tracking adventure safari in the impenetrable forest. Wake up early to a heavy breakfast at the lodge by 6:00am. Then your guide will pick you to transfer to the park headquarters where you will have briefing on gorilla trekking in Uganda. The trekking adventure lasts between 2 to 8 hours basing on the gorilla movements in the jungle. Since the trekking duration is unpredictable, you may need the services of a porter to carry a few items for you. Porters also help you when stuck by pulling you. You will be in the company of the rangers and guides who will direct you on what to do. Always take their advice and instructions seriously for your own safety.
The hike is pretty strenuous but worth the toil. Physical fitness is key to this lifetime adventure. Coming across the gorillas in the forest is a memorable life experience and makes you forget the hiking you have as you sought for them. On seeing the gorillas, you will stay for one hour in their midst. Take enough pictures and follow all the trekking rules and regulations you were briefed about at the park offices.
Day 3: Transfer to the Airstrip, Fly Back to Entebbe Airport.
Have breakfast and prepare to check out of the lodge. The driver will pick you up to transfer to the airstrip from where you will fly back to Entebbe International Airport. In case of an upcoming flight, you will stay at the airport to fly out. But in a situation that you still have time in Uganda, you will picked up from the airport and transfer to a booked hotel around Entebbe or Kampala. This marks the end of the gorilla safari by flying from Entebbe to Kisoro for a gorilla trekking adventure.
