Kidepo Valley Safari in Uganda, Tours in Uganda
Kidepo Valley Safari is one of the most charming Tours in Uganda. Kidepo National Park is 740 Kms from Kampala and going there by air is the most ideal means of transport. However, road transport in a 4X4WD is available especially if one wants to appreciate uganda’s beauty and culture.

The Park located in the North Eastern Uganda, bordering Sudan and Kenya in the extreme corner in the Northeast of the country has activities and attractions that include game drives, cultural visits to kraals and Karamajong homesteads called Manyatas, hiking and scenery viewing like the rolling savannah grasslands and nature walks among others.The park has a spectacular mountain landscape and among the wildest, original African parks in Africa, giving a wonderful experience of nature and game watching.
Full Kidepo Valley Safari Itinerary: By Air
Day 1: Arrival In Uganda
You are picked from Entebbe airport by our driver and transferred to a Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe Municipality.
Day 2: Fly to Kidepo from Kajjansi Airstrip
You will be transferred to Kajjansi Airstrip to board a chartered flight of any seater nature basing on the number of people you are in the trip to Kidepo. Arrive at Apoka Lodge. After lunch, enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from the verandah of the lodge. An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive and Community Visits.
After breakfast go for morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A number of faunas can be seen roaming around like the Ostrich. Get back to the lodge for lunch and use the afternoon to have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamajong people at Karenna and Kapepo. Interact and chat with local elders and they will show you their animal kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Retire to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Game Drive, Visit Hotsprings
Also enjoy wildlife and African landscape in Kidepo. Morning game drive, go for a hike on Lamoj Mountains just a few kilometers from the Park Headquarters. Return to the lodge for lunch. Visit the Kanangorok Hot Springs. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Lodge
Day 5: Birding, Nature Walk and Flying Back to Kampala.
After breakfast visit the bird hide and enjoy a guided nature walk. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch board your chartered flight back to Kajjansi Airstrip along Entebbe road where you will be picked for transfer to your accommodation in the evening.
Day 6: Airport Departure
We transfer you to the airport for your next flight back home.
