2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari

The 2 day Gorilla trekking tour in Rwanda starts from Kigali City to Volcanoes National Park/Parc des Volcans and then back to Kigali. During this short gorilla trip, you will have adquete time to visit gorillas in the forest. A Rwanda gorilla permit is at a cost of USD 1500 per person.

Day 1: Arrive at Kigali Airport and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

On your arrival at the airport in Kigali, our tour guide will receive you and will take you to the hotel for refreshments before driving for approximately 3 hours to Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri, a home of the much-loved endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda. Have your dinner and overnight at Gorillas view Hotel (luxury)/La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/Kinigi guest house (Budget).

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and transfer back to Kigali

Start your day off with breakfast at your hotel and by 7:30am, you will gather at the park headquarters together with tracking gear and parked lunch for briefing before heading in the forest to track the gorillas. This may take 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas. On return, your driver will drive you back to Kigali and then to Kanombe airport for your departure flight. End of the 2 day gorilla tour to Volcanoes National Park.
